  • Home Education English Programmes – comprehensive KS3 and GCSE English curriculum provision, including personalised curriculum planning, individual teaching, assessment, independent learning and ongoing progress monitoring.

1-to-1 Tuition 

Personalised face-to-face or online tuition tailored specifically to individual learning goals and objectives.

These services include ongoing assessment and detailed feedback, meticulously designed to track progress, identify strengths and weaknesses and inform future planning and strategies. This approach keeps students engaged and highly motivated, fostering a deeper  understanding of the subject matter while building confidence in their unique abilities and skills.

 

Group Tuition

Small-group learning designed to build confidence, essential skills and exam success in a supportive online setting. 

These sessions foster collaboration among students,  utilising pedagogical strategies like Talk to Write and Let's Think in English. These methods accelerate progress by enabling students to learn from each other through meaningful discussion.  Students gain confidence in articulating their ideas verbally before they write them down, which further solidifies their learning experience.

 

Assessment and Feedback 

Flexible assessment and feedback services for students who need expert guidance on a particular piece of work, without committing to ongoing tuition.

Parents can choose to have written work  professionally marked, with detailed feedback highlighting strengths and next steps. Additional feedback sessions can be added to the booking, enabling an opportunity to work through the assessment, addressing misconceptions and developing skills for future work.

 

Elective Home Education

Comprehensive English curriculum for home-educated students at Key Stage 3 and GCSE, ensuring high-quality teaching outside mainstream schools.

Includes a personalised curriculum, with sequenced learning, independent study, regular assessments and progress monitoring.  Each program is tailored to the student/s, providing the structure of a full English curriculum while allowing learning to progress according to individual needs.
